Professional Biography

Dr. Awol Seid Ebrahim is an Associate Professor of Plant Pathology and currently serves as President of Wollo University. He holds a PhD in Biology-Plant Pathology from Ghent University, Belgium, and an MBA in Project Management.

He brings more than 18 years of experience in teaching, research and institutional leadership, including senior roles in academic affairs, research and extension, and partnerships.

As an Advisory Board Member at MDC, Dr. Awol provides guidance on agricultural research, institutional strengthening, innovation and sustainable development initiatives.
