Dr. Sead Ahmed Swalih is a Water Resources Engineer specializing in sustainable practices, hydrological modeling, groundwater and river modeling, drought and flood early warning systems, and the use of remote sensing data for hydroclimatological studies.

His doctoral research at Istanbul Technical University focused on weather and climate forecasting products for hydrological modeling and flood assessment in mountainous regions of East Africa and Eurasia.
